THE FIRM
MMLaw is a boutique law firm focused on blockchain and crypto-native private wealth, advising family offices, companies, and high net worth individuals on how to turn digital assets into structured, defensible, and usable wealth. Since 2017, we have worked at the intersection of digital assets and cross-border private client work, combining legal rigour with an operational understanding of how crypto wealth is held, moved, evidenced, and deployed in the real economy.

We advise internationally mobile clients on corporate structuring, international tax optimisation, bankability and off-ramping, and modern succession planning for both traditional and digital assets. Our work often begins with establishing a robust baseline record of historic transactions and provenance, and then progresses to wallet organisation and governance by investment domains so future activity is cleaner, safer, and easier to certify. For clients building long-term platforms, we also structure family office-style frameworks and provide ongoing governance and venture support across crypto, private deals, and traditional investments.
Discretion is central to our operating model. We intentionally remain boutique and partner-led and maintain an in-house technical team with our own digital tools to protect confidentiality, responsiveness, and quality of execution, serving a predominantly international client base. Our headquarters is in Lisbon with offices in Cyprus, and we maintain integrated technical capability, including cybersecurity and specialist blockchain expertise, to support high-assurance mandates where governance and security must be treated as core elements of wealth protection rather than afterthought
