Marcio leads the Tax & Corporate Practice with over 23 years of experience in M&A, tax, and international corporate structures across four jurisdictions. He advises clients from startups to international organizations, with a sound expertise in Fintech, Banking, Energy, and Blockchain. Marcio holds an LLM from the University of Dundee, UK and a Bachelor’s in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and French, and proficient in Spanish and Italian.

Marcelo Dias de Moraes is an executive and entrepreneur with a strong track record in founding and leading companies focused on innovation and technology in the financial, construction, and energy sectors. He is a board member and owner of several international companies, including Bankrow, a payment institution specializing in card processing and digital account solutions. He also founded Pix, a pioneering company in payment management and advanced financial solutions in Brazil. Currently, he leads Plan Inc., a construction firm with real estate projects in Brazil and the U.S., and heads BAZ, a company focused on health, wellness, and economic solutions. Additionally, he holds stakes in technology firms specializing in AI, blockchain, and tokenization. Marcelo earned a degree in Legal Sciences from Universidade Paulista in 2014 and is proficient in intermediate English and basic Spanish.

Diogo leads the Domestic Tax, Real Estate, and Regulatory practices at MMLaw. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Brazil and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Legal Sciences at the University of Lisbon. Diogo advises on corporate tax structuring and compliance with Portuguese and European regulations. His career is distinguished by his proven ability to analyze and manage complex cases, provide in-house legal consultancy, lead multidisciplinary teams, and develop strategic solutions, always prioritizing excellence and operational efficiency. He is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English.

Gonçalo de Araújo e Gama is an Associate at MMLaw and primarily works in the legal fields of International Corporate and Tax Structuring and Intellectual Property. Gonçalo has a Bachelor's in Law, a Bachelor's in Applied Biochemistry, a Master’s Degree in Transnational Law and Law in the Digital Economy, with a minor in European Law and authored a Master's Thesis on Blockchain, Privacy, and Data Protection from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Católica Global School of Law in Lisbon. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, his eclectic perspective and broad skill set are a powerful addition to our legal team, enabling us to handle multidisciplinary complex cases with confidence and stand out competitively.

Henrique is a legal consultant specializing in Regulatory Compliance, Asset Protection and Estate Planning, also acting on the certification of transactions and wallets. He graduated from Universidade do Minho in Law. Henrique's distinctive expertise bolsters our capacity to devise tailored legal strategies and secure optimal outcomes in intricate transnational matters, thereby reinforcing the excellence of our work. He is fluent in Portuguese (native), English (proficient), and Norwegian (proficient).

Filipe holds a degree in Economics and has extensive international experience across financial and management sectors. He is responsible for our relocation department, providing comprehensive support and assistance to our clients and their families

Rafaela coordinates and manages case portfolios for companies and high-net-worth individuals at MMLaw. A law graduate with 16 years of experience as a partner and CFO in multiple law firms, she specializes in strategic planning, project management, and team supervision. Rafaela is fluent in portuguese and proficient in English and Spanish.

Luiz Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Brazil and a Postgraduate degree in Shipping Law from University College London (UCL), Faculty of Laws. With 45 years of experience, he specializes in Energy and Oil and Gas Contracts, Maritime Contracts, Marine Insurance, Carriage of Goods by Sea, and International Business Transactions. He is fluent in Portuguese and English and has proficiency in Spanish.

Guilherme bridges technical issues with legal analysis as our blockchain consultant. Since 2017, he has co-founded DREXFY and led Polygon Guild Lisbon. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Lisbon and a Master’s in Blockchain Technology from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). His expertise includes cryptocurrency mining, DeFi, asset tokenization, and smart contract development. Guilherme is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Gustavo is an international lawyer and entrepreneur with extensive international experience in gaming, betting, tech and Web3 startups. He has founded and provided advice to startups in roles such as legal advisor, incubator, accelerator, and venture builder, creating bridges between industry, universities, and investors. For over a decade, he has worked as a consultant in digital transformation and innovation advisory. He has strong expertise in international business and corporate law, with a focus on investment and startups.

Edoardo is a recognized figure in the Web3 industry, with a strong online presence and active participation in webinars and podcasts, advising audiences on blockchain investments. Holding a law degree from the University of Coimbra, he specializes in blockchain regulation, corporate tax structuring, and compliance. As an MMLaw Ambassador for the EU and Middle East, he bridges legal expertise with the dynamic world of digital assets. Edoardo is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English.
